I started running in November last year. Just to see how far I could get. I did manage to get to Half Marathon distance and ran the Liverpool Half Marathon. But one thing was missing, i never lost any weight. I stayed a very hefty 16st and didn’t tone up. I got very fit and could run long distances very easily. Energy levels soared. But stayed the same weight.
So 2 weeks ago i started to watch what I ate to see how I got on.
24th July - 15st 12lb
Today - 15st 3lb
It works! I’m losing weight! That’s 9 pounds in 2 weeks!
If you go off BMI then i’m very obese but BMI is a load of rubbish. I’m going to see if I can get to 14 Stone and take it from there. Looks achievable at the moment!!
Oh and don’t think i’ve been on a crash diet or whatnot. That’s NOT me. I can’t diet. All that has changed is low fat and smaller portions. I’ve still eaten like a pig, never felt hungry. But something is working and It’s actually reading the labels that has made the difference.
I’m pleased!
