Running in the rain brings two main problems, humans don’t like rain, ducks LOVE rain. So running on a canal in the rain combines both of these into one big duck mess. Anybody walking on the opposite side of the canal could mistake it for an elaborate duck-dodging, Mario Bros style Platform game where slightly overweight men have to kick and swipe mallards in an attempt to lose weight and not fall in.
For the record, I won. I got the high score.
