My Great North Run number came. AND WHAT A NUMBER.
28 THOUSAND AND WHAT-WHAT?
Jeez. That’s a lot of runners. Apparently there will be 4 times that overall. 80,000 runners all chuggin’ along around the world preparing for this one race. I’m currently sat here eating a cake that somebody has given me free in the office so it’s safe to say i’m not going to win this race.
Hello, I'm Neil, and I am running from Manchester to Newcastle for Age UK
I'm not very sporty, I've never been very fit or active. But I'm running 5 Marathons in 5 days then finishing off with the Great North Run/i> in the Autumn. I've challenged myself to lose some weight, raise some money and generally try to live life a lot healthier and happier. I'll be posting snippets of what i've done/found/hated along the way.
