WEEKEND RUN!

Time: 1hr (on the dot!)

What a wonderful, wonderful run this was. Arrived in Devon 11pm night before, got the tent in order and quick drink before bed was in order. I woke up around 5:45am, zipped open the tent and was greeted with this sight.

Couldn’t turn down the chance to get a run in along the coast as the sun came up. Man, this is the stuff theme tunes were written for. It needed a theme tune. Oh and don’t worry, i totally understand how utterly smug this whole event is. Sunrise run? Check. Beautiful Day? Check. It has to go wrong somewhere. And it did.

I was soon brought rigth down back to earth quite literally when i fell on my arse trying to be cocky running down a dew-wet hill. I got laughed at by a fisherman. Then I got completely lost and ran up the steepest, steepest hill i’ve ever seen. Oh and when i wrote ran there, i meant walked. Oh sorry when i wrote walked there i meant crawled on all fours screaming.

2 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL ROBIN HOOD HALF MARATHON. OH YES!
